B.Tech in Civil Engineering (4-Year Degree Course)
Civil Engineering is one of the oldest and most essential engineering disciplines, focusing on the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure such as bridges, roads, buildings, and water systems. The program integrates classical engineering principles with modern tools, enabling students to specialize in Structural Analysis, Geotechnical Engineering, and Transportation Systems, while addressing sustainability and urban development challenges.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must have successfully completed the 10+2 examination pattern of CBSE or an equivalent board from a recognized institution, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects. A minimum aggregate of 55% marks in PCM is required for eligibility. Additionally, the candidate must have studied and passed English (core or elective) as a subject of study at the qualifying level.
Admission Criteria:
Admission to the B.Tech program is primarily based on the merit of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main – Paper 1) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). In case seats remain vacant, CUET scores may be considered in subsequent rounds as per university guidelines. The admission process is conducted through centralized online counseling by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), where seats are allotted based on the candidate’s All India Rank (AIR), category reservation policies, and regional quotas (Delhi and Outside Delhi).
