B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE, 4-Year Degree Course)
B.Tech ECE is a dynamic program that bridges hardware and software technologies. It focuses on the design, development, and implementation of electronic devices and communication systems essential for modern connectivity. Students gain expertise in Signal Processing, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, and Wireless Communication, contributing to advancements in 5G and IoT ecosystems.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must have successfully completed the 10+2 examination pattern of CBSE or an equivalent board from a recognized institution, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects. A minimum aggregate of 55% marks in PCM is required for eligibility. Additionally, the candidate must have studied and passed English (core or elective) as a subject of study at the qualifying level.
Admission Criteria:
Admission to the B.Tech program is primarily based on the merit of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main – Paper 1) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). In case seats remain vacant, CUET scores may be considered in subsequent rounds as per university guidelines. The admission process is conducted through centralized online counseling by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), where seats are allotted based on the candidate’s All India Rank (AIR), category reservation policies, and regional quotas (Delhi and Outside Delhi).
