Exploring the World Through Study Tours

At MBS College, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our study tours offer students invaluable exposure to real-world industry practices, cultural insights, and global trends. Whether visiting architectural marvels, leading business hubs, or emerging tech centers, these immersive experiences enhance academic understanding while fostering professional growth. Each tour is carefully curated to align with course objectives, ensuring students gain hands-on knowledge and a broader perspective on their fields of study.

Academic Tour - UDAIPUR 2024

The Udaipur trip presented students with the opportunity to experience the marvel of Rajasthan's architectural traditions, as well as the innovative historic water management practices. The students visited the City Palace and documented multiple historical stepwells which allowed students to directly engage with a region that was synthesizing heritage with new forms of design practice.

Academic Tour- AGRA 2024

Students experienced the greatness of Mughal architecture, focusing on issues of symmetry, geometry, and urban planning. The itinerary allowed students to study the Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri in depth as they became acquainted with the architectural significance of these two monuments and their place in the history of the evolution of architecture.

Academic Tour - Puducherry 2023

The tour provided students with the opportunity to experience the amalgamation of colonial French heritage and contemporary sustainable design in Puducherry and Auroville. It was an important experience to consider issues of urban conservation, heritage, architectural innovation, and eco-conscious planning.

Academic Tour - Ahmedabad 2023

Students travelled to Ahmedabad to study the contemporary architecture and history of the city. They were able to visit, among other sites, the well-known Sabarmati Ashram and contemporary architectures like the Sabarmati Riverfront. This experience provided context for learning about sustainable urban development and historical contexts applied to modern city development.

Academic Tour- Dubai 2022

Students visited Dubai to witness its internationally acclaimed skyscrapers, modern infrastructure, and inventive building design. The students were able to experience the futuristic urban planning and sustainable design as expressed in its buildings and infrastructure.

Academic Tour- Ajmer, Pushkar & Jaipur 2018

This trip focused on the architectural heritage of Rajasthan, featuring the interaction of Rajasthani and Islamic architectural styles. Students had the opportunity to visit significant sites, including Hawa Mahal, the City Palace, and Ajmer Sharif, which allowed them to recognise nuances of interactions between culture and design.

Academic Tour - Vadodara and Ahmedabad 2019

This tour offered students the opportunity to experience the wealth of architectural heritage in Gujarat. Students visited the Laxmi Vilas Palace in Vadodara and the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology in Ahmedabad. Students examined a variety of architectural styles and histories, ancient and contemporary, ranging from temples to new urban design.
