The registration fee is Rs. 2,500/- (non-refundable), plus taxes and service charges as applicable. It is paid online or offline at the time of submitting the application form. The same fee applies to CET-based courses and to courses where the National Level Test applies.
For GGSIPU CET, online registration begins on 2 February and closes on 31 March. For courses where the National Level Test applies, registration starts in February with the closing date to be notified later. All dates are tentative and subject to revision by the University.
For most programmes, admission is on the basis of the merit of the GGSIPU CET. Vacant seats remaining after the CET merit list is exhausted are filled through the CUET merit list. CUET-based admissions begin only after the CET merit lists for the relevant programmes have been fully utilised. For BA-LL.B, admission uses the CLAT-UG merit instead.
Eligibility varies by route. B.Arch needs a 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and a 50% aggregate (or a 10+3 Diploma with Maths). B.Tech streams need a 10+2 pass with PCM and a minimum 55% aggregate in PCM. BBA, BCA and B.Com (H) need a 10+2 pass with a minimum 50% aggregate, including English. Check the course-by-course eligibility section above for exact requirements.
Keep ready a valid e-mail ID and mobile number, a recent passport-size photograph (JPG/JPEG, 4.5 × 3.5 cm, 10—100 KB), a scanned signature in black or blue ink (10—100 KB), educational qualifications from Class 10 onwards with percentages, caste / category certificates if applicable, a disability certificate for PWD candidates, and debit card / credit card / net banking details for online payment.
During CET registration, the photograph and signature must be uploaded in JPG, JPEG or GIF format with a file size under 80 KB. The passport-size colour photograph should be 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm, not older than three weeks, and ideally between 10 KB and 100 KB. Use the same photograph throughout the admission process.
As on 1 August, candidates for all UG programmes with a Class 12 entry qualification (other than MBBS) should not be beyond 21 years. For MBBS / BAMS / BHMS the limit is 25 years, and for other PG programmes with a graduation entry qualification it is 35 years. There is no upper age limit for B.Arch admission.
For all B.Tech streams at MBS College, admission is based on JEE Main Paper 1 conducted by the NTA — GGSIPU does not conduct IPU CET for mainstream engineering branches. Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Register on the GGSIPU admission portal, fill both the Common Application Form and the GGSIPU counselling registration with their respective fees, then participate in centralised counselling on the basis of your All India Rank.
